Ken Hawes

President / CEO

Ken Hawes has been a proud and devoted parent of Loni since he and Carmen married in 1996 when Loni was 11 years old. Ken and Loni had a close father/daughter relationship and also shared a great love of music. Ken has a BA in Business and a Master's Degree in Music from Pacific Christian College and has served over 40 years in Christian music ministry. Ken is also an ordained minister and baptized Loni into the Christian faith when she was 12 years old while on staff at WVCC in West Hills, California. As President of Loni's Legacy, Inc., Ken serves with a deep understanding of God's love and His purpose for our lives in helping others in their time of need. Ken and Carmen reside in the Lewisburg, West Virginia area.

Carmen (Loni's Mother)

Officer / Board Member

Inspired by the love and benevolence that Loni gave to others, Loni's mother founded Loni's Legacy, Inc. in March 2022. She serves as an Officer and on the Board of Directors. Carmen's professional background was in Office Administration, Human Resource Management and Private Investigation.  However, nothing has proven  more meaningful to her then carrying on the legacy of her daughter's love of investing in the lives of others.  

Calvin Barnes

Board Member

Calvin Barnes is a founding Board Member of Loni's Legacy, Inc., and resides in Los Angeles, California where he and Loni met during her high school years over 2 decades ago. Their friendship continued after Loni relocated to New York City in 2008. Calvin was a devoted and faithful friend to Loni and brings much love and devotion to the mission of Loni's Legacy, Inc. Calvin served in the United States Marines during the Gulf War, has a BA in Sociology and is currently working in the Insurance Field. He is a devoted father of one daughter.

Jonathan Brumit

Board Member

Jonathan Brumit is a founding Board Member of Loni's Legacy, Inc., and resides in the New York City area where he and Loni met in 2013. He was a very good friend to Loni and brings much love and expertise to the mission of Loni's Legacy, Inc. Jonathan is currently working in the field of communications media and hosts a weekly radio show at 90.3 WHPC in New York called "Art of Heaven." He is a husband and devoted father of a daughter.
